Here are some photos I've been wanting to put up of a beautiful 10th floor live/work space (in midtown) I've had the pleasure of helping to tidy up a bit. I got there just when they moved in and Karla needed help with storage, and a lot of other little things. Now as they're settled in more, I was able to repaint the kitchen area. It's a really nice, open kitchen, lots of space, and just a fun place to be, but it was painted in a very striking black. We thought it was too oppressive so we choose a color that worked with the natural wood tones, and helped mirror all the natural sun light that they have access to... a much lighter color. An interesting note (and plug as well): Benjamin Moore has come out with a new 'better' paint called
Aura which is actually quite worth the extra cost. It is definitely the best paint I've worked with. It goes on very smooth, no drips, no odor, seamless touch-up... etc.
I'm usually forgetting to get 'before' pics, but I got them this time just as I started...
